On October 10, 2023, Levy County Public Safety along with Chiefland Fire Rescue participated in fire prevention training with Kountry Kids Daycare in Chiefland. This week is fire prevention week and today we taught the children how to stop, drop, and roll, what a smoke alarm sounds like, and what they should do if they hear this noise. The kids also enjoyed seeing all the gear a firefighter has to put on to keep them safe.
